how to hide sex toys from kids

I am not proud to admit it, but hiding sex toys from kids has become a normal activity in my household. There are times when I feel like I’m living in a spy movie, tip-toeing around the house in an effort not to make any noise. It all started when my wife and I decided it was time to spice up our bedroom. We wanted to let loose and vibrators embrace our wild side, but if our three kids were to find out, it would be absolute chaos.

Trying to figure out the best way to keep the adult toys hidden from nosey children was no easy task. After some careful thought, we settled on three rules and stick to them religiously. First, anything remotely shape associated with adult toys is banned from our bedroom at all times. Second, only store the toys in a locked area, preferably somewhere offsite. Third, depending on the piece, take extra precautions such as wrapping it in a cloth or Penis Rings enclosed in a box.

To be honest, we have gotten pretty crafty about this whole situation. We take advantage of our laundry baskets (especially those with intricate designs) when it comes to larger or bulkier items. Out of all the hiding spots in our home, this one has proven to be the most reliable. As far as that I know, the kids haven’t found BOB the vibrator yet thank goodness!

That being said, it is absolutely essential that any adult toys be put away safely, lest there be an embarrassing incident. Trust me, I’ve had my own episodes where I’ve completely freaked out, frantically diving onto the floor after the kids have spotted a toy. Although there have been some close calls, my wife and I have managed to keep them at bay for the most part.

Our sneaky strategies for hiding sex toys have also managed to pay off in more ways than one. Whenever the kids are away visiting family, or in school, my wife and I can not only have some alone time, but we can also surprise each other with the occasional out-of-the-ordinary. Now that the kids can’t spot our toys, our bedroom is just about the last place anyone would expect to find them.

We have also learned from our experience to keep things as organized as possible around our home. This makes it easier to find items quickly and helps to avoid any embarrassing moments during family gatherings. Beyond that, it also makes it easier to avoid suspicion from our children.

Having to play hide and seek with our sex toys is definitely not what my wife and I had planned. But it has become a necessary and entertaining routine that we can now laugh about. It has also made us look further into our own relationship and explore what works for us. Who knew that life with kids could still be so exciting and active?
